From South :-  Exit at junction 13 of the M74, on to the A70 Rigside / Lanark Road, Follow signs for Lanark A73. Continue through Lanark on A73 towards village of Braidwood (approx.4 miles). Turn RIGHT immediately before the Station Inn on to B7056. At T-Junction at end of road turn RIGHT. Burnhead is at the top of hill on left.

From North :-   Exit at junction 6 of A8 which is a continuation of M8. this exit is signposted for New Lanark. Take the A73 heading towards Newmains / Carluke. Carry on through Newmains on A73 following signs for Carluke. Go through town and take the A721 Peebles Road. Burnhead is on the top of the hill on the left after Paver Systems sign.
